2020 Plant Sale

Thank you for visiting our 2020 Plant Sale & supporting Orwell Free Library.

Orders will be ready for pickup on Saturday, May 30 after 9 am. Until then, your veggie starts will be growing in a warm greenhouse, cared for by professionals. They will be beautiful plants, ready to pop in your garden.

Thank you to our donors: Singing Cedars Farmstead, Vermont Wetland Supply, Bloomers Garden Design, Golden Russet Farm, Home Depot of Rutland, Lowes of South Burlington, Champlain Valley Mushrooms, Shiretown Stoneground Artisanal Flours, and many local gardeners and farmers.

Payment will be by cash or check during pickup on May 30.

Veggie starts and basil are all single plants in 4 inch pots.

Masks are required, as recommended by state ordinance and the CDC. There will be masks available, by donation.

Pickup will be drive thru, around the town green. Follow the signs, give the attendant your name and we will bring your order directly to your carside. There will be some browsing available. Please follow the directional signs as you browse through the plants, and move through in a timely fashion so we can provide a safe environment for everyone.

We appreciate your patience during pickup and browsing. This is all new to us and we are excited to continue the Plant Sale tradition safely.
